LEARN MORE

Arizona Helping Hands

We support foster families by providing essentials such as new beds or cribs, bedding, clothes, toiletries, holiday toys, birthday gifts, and school supplies. ln addition to offering essentials we offer licensing safety requirement items such as fire extinguishers, carbon monoxide detectors, first aid kits and more at no cost. On an annual basis we service more than 5,000 boys and girls in Arizona's foster care system and make birthdays special with personalized birthday packages. We are a foster care charitable tax credit organization, and rely on volunteers to help us carry out our mission and services to serve foster care families. Thanks to our reliance on volunteers .91 cents of every dollar goes directly back to programs and services. T.W. Lewis Foundation Support

T.W. Lewis Foundation has issued two Challenge Grants to Arizona Helping Hands. For both Challenge Grants, donors must be new donors to quality. For each new donation of $2,000 or more, a $2,000 donation will be made to Arizona Helping Hands from the T.W. Lewis Foundation (up to ten gifts per Challenge Grant). The 1st Challenge Grant is focused on the Basic Needs program --beds, cribs, diapers and more, and the 2nd Challenge Grant is focused on the capital campaign for the new Arizona Helping Hands Foster Care Resource Center.

Testimonial

"Dear Helping Hands, Thank you for being kind, caring, and just being there for children in need. The kiddos loved everything. Even their own bod wash. I personally want to thank you for the mattress that they needed. We as a family cannot thank everyone that works, donates, or helps there enough." Love, L Family
