Good Golfers - Better People
The First Tee of Phoenix is impacting more than 100,000 youth in Maricopa County each year through four different programs designed for participants to learn valuable life skills and character lessons through creative activities and instructional programs that incorporate the fundamental teachings of golf. These four programs are:
- The First Tee Life Skills Experience (15 Golf Course locations)
- The National School Program (incorporated into more than 150 school's PE curriculum)
- DRIVE Program (after school programs at numerous Boys & Girls Clubs, YMCAs, and other allied organizations)
- Outreach Program (quarterly events to engage the broader community)

T.W. Lewis Foundation supports The First Tee of Phoenix with a matching grant to help them develop and maintain continuous funding and increase their ability to impact and reach more young people.
