a house; it's a reflection of your individual
lifestyle. At T.W. Lewis, we pride ourselves
on the many features, floorplan options
and design details we offer, all of which
combine to make your new home uniquely yours.
Of course offering such a wide range of
options adds to the overall complexity of
the home building process. To accommodate
your design needs, while adhering to a strict
construction schedule, we utilize a unique
"Release System". Using this method,
you need only make those choices necessary
for us to plan and begin construction, while
you work with our Design Center to add the
style and finishing touches. This gives
you the time needed to explore all your
options, while we move forward with the
beginning stages of construction. This system
also
helps
reduce mistakes or late changes
that can cause
construction
delays.
At
the time you select your new home, you'll
be asked to
make just a few choices, mainly because
these selections could have an impact
on
the choices available to buyers on adjacent
lots. These choices include:
- Floor plan
- Lot number
- Elevation
- Exterior color package
- Garage hand (left or right)
Working with your Sales Associate the following selections will need to be completed within 30 days of your Purchase Agreement:
- Foundation and rear patio slab
- Under slab electrical
- Under slab plumbing
- Framing-related issues
- Window choices
- Roof tiles
- Fireplace face
- Master tub and shower configuration
- Other structural options
 Working with your Design Consultant,
the next section of choices will need
to
be completed within 85 days of your Purchase Agreement,
and include:
- Electrical and lighting
- Electronics and audio systems
- Security systems
- Countertops
- Ceramic tile
- Flooring
- Entry door
- Sinks and plumbing fixtures
- Bath accessories
- Appliances
- Interior paint
- All other selections not included in
Release 3
The final touches on your
new home are to be made within 130 days
of the date of your Purchase Agreement. These
selections are made in the Design Center,
and include:
- Exterior concrete-drives, patios, walkways
- Swimming pools and spas
- Front yard landscaping
- Window coverings
